Phoenix Smart has three current outputs to charge 3 battery banks. Each output can provide the maximum rated output current, but the total sum of the 3 outputs can never exceed the rated current of the charger
5-stage adaptive charging algorithm: constant current – absorption – reconditioning – maintenance – conservation
The Phoenix Smart Charger features Victron's famous 'adaptive' battery management system, which can be programmed for different battery types. The 'adaptive' function automatically optimizes the charging process based on the type of battery use.
The right amount of charge: variable absorption time
In the case of low-capacity discharges (such as a yacht connected to the shore power supply) the absorption duration is limited in order to avoid overcharging the battery. After a deep discharge, the absorption time is automatically extended to ensure the battery is fully charged.
Fully programmable charging algorithm
The charging algorithm can be programmed via Bluetooth or the VE.Direct interface. Three pre-programmed algorithms can be selected using the mode button.
Remote on/off
The remote on/off is made up of two terminals: remote H and remote L. A remote on/off switch or relay contact can be connected between H and L. Alternatively, terminal H can be raised or terminal L lowered.
VE.Direct interface
For cable connection to the Color Control panel, PC or other devices.
Programmable relay
It can be programmed, via the VE.Direct interface or a Bluetooth-enabled device, to trigger an alarm or other event.
