Navigation planning software:
• Displays the fishing and navigation maps provided by BlueChart g2 Vision® (also compatible² with BlueChart g2 navigation maps).
• Allows you to measure distance and direction on maps.
• Displays depth profiles as well as distance and direction measurements.
• Allows you to convert tracks to routes to your destination (track-to-route conversion) and specify the speed for each leg of the route.
• Provides the estimated arrival time and actual arrival times (for each leg) when creating routes.
• View an animated playback of the data on your device.
• Allows you to calculate fuel consumption (based on user supplied fuel flow data).
• Allows you to export the selected data to Google ™ Earth.
• Allows you to view statistical and graphical information relating to stations and tidal flows and currents, as well as tide forecasts.
• Displays lines for the reticle indicating latitude and longitude.
• Allows you to manage waypoints, routes and tracks.
• View the map with north up, arrow up or direction up.
• Displays astronomical information such as sunrise, sunset and moon phases.
• View photos and details of points of interest.
• Supports vector maps.
• Includes a world base map.
• Allows viewing of multiple maps.
• Allows you to record waypoints and other points of interest and, when finished, sends the data to an SD card or a Garmin proprietary data card to load it into the chartplotter or compatible Garmin echo sounder.

The HomePort software is preprogrammed on a 2 GB data card which can also be used when transferring the preloaded map from the chartplotter to a microSD / SD card for use with HomePort.
