Description
Details
Cressi Sub Gara Modular Sprint are medium length fins, the needs of freedivers and underwater fishermen who practice this sport in winter and when it is not necessary to wear such a long fin like the Impulse.
Removable Modular Fin
Interchangeable shovel angled at 29 degrees
Superior Performance
Superior Comfort
Self-adjusting foot pocket
Short version of the Modular Impulse race fin
The Sprint blade is made of a single thermoplastic elastomeric material, although we can better define its structure by talking about an angled substrate and an overlay. The substrate follows the shape and dimensions of almost the entire blade, has a uniform thickness and features a flexible longitudinal propulsion wing with a variable length. The so-called superlayer, however, covers the propulsion wing selectively and has a thickness decreasing from a maximum value down to zero in the longitudinal direction towards the tip of the blade.
As a result, the blade provides a new way of accumulating elastic potential energy and releasing it, which optimally assists the motor act of the freediver's leg, thus guaranteeing a clear improvement in propulsive performance.
If dismantled, the blade and foot pocket take up the space of a normal snorkeling fin.
Attention: All Cressi Sub fins from the Gara Modular series have a wider foot pocket than the other Gara fin models. we suggest using it with 2-3 mm thick neoprene socks for an adequate fit.
For use without neoprene socks, we recommend purchasing a smaller size.
Total length 71 cm (referring to size 42/43 it varies depending on the size of the foot)
